The Outpost of Holland introduced Stand Up Paddling (SUP) to West Michigan the summer of 2008, after learning about the sport on the West Coast and Hawaii. Since then, we have become known as the 'go to shop' for SUP because of our knowledge, personal usage, and our in stock inventory of over 100 boards.

Now, 2010, sees The Outpost on the front edge of the technology and we sell the best boards in the industry. The Staff at The Outpost will not sell you a board just because we have it in stock, but will sell you a board that fits your needs and usage. We continue to share our passion of SUP to people of all ages and ability, and encourage you to learn to 'walk on water'. Our staff paddles on a regular basis-some even year around! This sport is popular for fitness training as well as just recreational use. SUP offers a great cross-training workout or leisurely cruise along the shoreline.
